Born in 1957 in Halle an der Saale, formative years in the Ruhr District Apprenticeship in goldsmithing in Herne, followed by training as gem inspector in Idar-Oberstein. Thereafter professionally active.

Starting in 1982, first experience in lasuring and interior design projects.

1989 - 1993 Waldorf teacher training in Witten-Annen, with concentration on crafts and fine arts.

Since 1994 freelance artist in the Freiburg area, with main emphasis on painting, color design and wall paintings.

Design commissions in Germany and abroad.
